The Forbidden City Beijing

These folks asked (politely) to have their pictures taken with us. This happened four or five times in China. We were a source of great amazement. We are known as Big Noses. Many of these people have never seen Westerners before.

This picture is just to illustrate the scale of the Forbidden City. The buildings are huge, the squares are huge, the buildings are plain.
